Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results to provide accurate and timely patient diagnoses
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration
- Prepare specimens for testing, including collecting, labeling, and storing samples
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure quality control and accuracy of test results
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals at Oasis Fertility Centre to interpret test results and provide necessary information for making clinical decisions
- Maintain accurate records of all tests performed and results obtained
- Adhere to Oasis Fertility Centre's protocols, provincial and federal standards, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboraotry Technology or a related field
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Proficient in performing laboratory tests, including blood, plasma, and serum samples
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data accurately
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends, and holidays as required based on efficient patientcare

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
